🌿 About Our Products

What makes NaturaleeCurlee products different?

Every NaturaleeCurlee product was created because I personally needed it and couldn't find it on the shelf. We formulate in small batches using real, recognizable ingredients — no fillers, no synthetic silicones, no harsh sulfates. Each product has a specific job to do for textured and curly hair, and we don't put anything in the formula unless it earns its place.

Are your products safe for all curl types?

Yes! Our products are formulated for textured and curly hair types 2C through 4C. Whether your hair is loose waves, defined curls, or tight coils — NaturaleeCurlee was made with you in mind. If you have a specific concern (fine curls, color-treated hair, sensitive scalp), feel free to reach out and we'll help you find the right products for your hair.

Do your products contain sulfates, silicones, or parabens?

No. We do not use sulfates that strip your natural oils, silicones that cause buildup, mineral oil, or synthetic parabens. Our ingredient lists are intentionally clean and readable — if you can't pronounce it, we probably didn't put it in there. You can find the full ingredient list on each product page.

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

NaturaleeCurlee products are cruelty-free — we never test on animals. Most of our products are vegan. A few formulas may contain beeswax or honey-derived ingredients; those will be noted on the product page ingredient list. When in doubt, reach out and we'll confirm for you.

How long do your products last once opened?

Because we formulate in small batches with a naturally-derived preservative system, our products have a shelf life of 12 months unopened and 6–9 months after opening when stored properly. Store your products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and water. Always use clean, dry hands or a spatula to scoop butter products — introducing water into the jar shortens shelf life.

Do you use fragrance in your products?

Some of our products do contain fragrance to give them their signature scents. The fragrance amount is kept within safe cosmetic guidelines. If you have fragrance sensitivities, check the individual product ingredient list or contact us before purchasing.

💧 How to Use

What order should I use the NaturaleeCurlee products in?

The golden rule for curly hair is: Moisture → Seal → Scalp. Start with the Curl Serenity Leave-In on dripping wet hair, section by section. Then apply Luscious Locs Hair Butter to seal that moisture in. Finally, apply Herbal Lush Growth Oil or Gemini Rose Oil directly to your scalp. That's it — three steps, all day moisture.

Can I use the Coco Lux Body Butter on my hair?

Absolutely — and that discovery was an accident! The Coco Lux Body Butter is officially a hair AND body product. Use it on your skin as a moisturizer or apply a small amount to your curls as a sealant after your leave-in. It works beautifully on both.

Do your products work on low porosity hair?

Yes — with a technique tweak! Low porosity hair resists moisture getting in, so apply the Curl Serenity Leave-In to hair that's almost dripping wet. Add a small amount of gentle heat (a heated cap or hooded dryer for 10 minutes) to help the cuticle open and absorb the moisture. Same products, smarter application.

📦 Orders & Shipping

How long does it take to process my order?

Because we make in small batches, most orders are processed and shipped within 3–5 business days. During high volume periods processing may take up to 7 business days. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order ships.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $50 within the United States. Orders under $50 have a flat shipping rate based on your location and selected shipping method at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we ship within the United States only. We are working on expanding international shipping — follow us on Instagram and TikTok @naturaleecurlee to be the first to know when international shipping becomes available.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Please contact us at alyshameyer@naturaleecurlee.com within 24 hours of placing your order. Once an order has shipped, we are unable to make changes or cancellations.

🔄 Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of handmade cosmetic products, we do not accept returns on opened products. If you received a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue and we will make it right — a replacement or store credit will be issued promptly.

What if I have an allergic reaction?

We recommend doing a patch test before using any new product — apply a small amount to the inside of your wrist and wait 24 hours. If you experience a reaction, discontinue use immediately and contact us. Your safety is always the priority. Full ingredient lists are available on every product page.

My product arrived damaged — what do I do?

Please email us at alyshameyer@naturaleecurlee.com within 7 days of receiving your order with your order number and a photo of the damaged product and packaging. We'll send a replacement right away.

What is The Crown Lab?

The Crown Lab is our hair wellness studio — where science meets haircare. Unlike a traditional salon that focuses on a service, The Crown Lab focuses on your hair health. Every appointment starts with a scalp analysis so we can understand what's actually happening at the follicle level before we touch your hair.

How do I book a Crown Lab appointment?

You can book by purchasing a deposit for your chosen service on this page. Once your deposit is received, we'll reach out within 24–48 hours to confirm your appointment date and time. You can also DM us on Instagram @thecrownlab to ask questions before booking.

Are Crown Lab deposits refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable but are fully transferable to another appointment date with at least 48 hours notice. If you need to reschedule, simply reach out and we'll find a new time that works for you.
